Check out this page for definitions if you are not sure about the meaning of some of the key terms and phrases used on the pages of this site.

I quite regularly use websites like dictionary.com to look up the meanings for words that I am not familiar with, or words that are being used in an unfamiliar context and I find that it makes my experiences with the writing of others much more informative.

That way I am better able to understand the text and I get to expand my vocabulary at the same time.  But it does necessitate me navigating away from the site that I am engaging with and sometimes that can be a bit distracting.

So to avoid putting any of my readers in that situation I am including a page (this one) that has definitions of any key words or phrases that I think might need to be explained.

creating an online home business

So, if you have come across a word or a phrase on this site that you feel needs further explanation, it may well be in the list below.  If you can't find it, I might have missed it.

We all tend to assume that words and phrases that we are familiar with are also understood by others so it is entirely possible that I have left out a word or phrase that I use all the time and have assumed to be in common usage.  I am not always going to be right (btw, that was actually hard to admit...)

If I have missed one and it is important to you, it will be important to other readers so I need to ask you for a favour.

Could you please drop me a line using my contact form and let me know what the missing word or phrase is?  I would really appreciate it and you would be doing a service for your fellow visitors to this site.
